        in Court and acknowledges himselfe Indebted unto James Heech afs^d in y^e
        Sum^e of twelve hundred & Seaventÿ pounds of tob^o And for plea Nevertheless
        y^e S^d Edward Saith y^e S^d James Stands Justlÿ Indebted unto y^e S^d Edward in y^e
        Sum^e of one thousand & three hundred pounds of tob^o as bÿ an acc^t to this
        plea annexed and here in Court brought appears & therefore y^e S^d James

   first reason The Deft in his plea Afs^d Doth not formallÿ Saÿ as ought y^t y^e Deft bÿ his
                att^rÿ &c^a comes & Defends y^e force & Enjurÿ when &c^a & alledge y^t [illegible]
                y^e S^d Deft Stood Soe Indebted to y^e pltf afs^d &c^a Nevertheless y^e S^d pltf
                nevertheless y^e S^d pltf Stands Indebted in Greater or lesser Sum^e &c^a and
                therefore praÿs Discount &c^a
Second reason The Def^t in S^d plea Confesses y^e Debt Due to y^e pltf but Seemes to Evade but oblidging
             a greater Debt Due to y^e Def^t &c^a but Doth not Crave a Discount
             onelÿ Saÿeth he y^e S^d pltf ought not to have his accõn &c^a
  Third reason ) The Def^t hath not taken y^e Issue as ought applÿ for in Such Cases
             he ought onelÿ in y^e Conclusive part of his plea have Craved Discount [illegible]
             and left y^e pltf in his Replication to have taken his travarse upon y^e Country
