      mond’s Estate nineteen hundred pounds of tob^o and thereupon he brings this

      Cause to Come here twelve &c^a bÿ whome &c^a who neither &c^a to re^cgnize beca^use as
      well &c^a who Saÿeth that he hath here readÿ twelve &c^a as bÿ his S^d p^rcept
      he was Comãnded to witt John Hackett; George Hartshorne, John Johnson,
      W^m. Whitehead, Char^s ffloÿde, Matthew Collier, Samuel Taÿlor, Tho: Browne,
      Darbÿ Harn, Richard Mason, John Hodges, James Wattson, who being
      Duelÿ Trÿed & Sworn to Saÿ y^e truth in y^e p^rmisses Doe Saÿ upon their oathes
      we of y^e Jurÿ Doe finde for y^e Def^t in Damãges fiftÿ pounds of tob^o
      | according to act of assemblÿ ) for a non Suit, and Cost of Suit
           Which being bÿ y^e Court heard & understood It is bÿ y^e Justices here
      Considered this 28^th Daÿ of March anno Dñi 1704 That y^e S^d Sollomⁿ Wright
      Guardian as afs^d Take nothing bÿ his writt afs^d but be in mercÿ for his —
      falce Clam^r, and as to y^e writt y^t y^e S^d Charles Goe thereof w^thout Daÿ It is like

      fiftÿ & Six pounds of tob^o for his Cost & Charges laid out & Expended ===

	\| of Kent Countÿ Court then next fallowing to be held for S^d Countÿ

        To answ^r: unto Elias King Ex^r of Edward Sweatnam of a plea y^t he rend^r unto him
        y^e full & Just Sum^e of 3692^ls of good Sound Merchtable leafe tob^o & Caske &c^a
        The Sher^f made return hereof ~~Cepi~~ Endorsed Cepi Corpus p^r me Joⁿ Hawkins Sher^f
                Whereupon y^e S^d Def appeared, & praÿed Leave to Imp^rle thereunto
        untill next w^ch he had y^e Same Daÿ was Given y^e pltf allso: att w^ch S^d next
        Court to witt this twentÿ Eight Daÿ of March 1704 when comes as well y^e
        S^d Def^t in his prop^r p^rson, as y^e S^d pltf bÿ Richard Macklin his att^rÿ
        who Declared his Cause of accõn &c^a
   Marÿland Ss} Joⁿ Whittington als Dicts John Whittington of Kent Countÿ was Somñ’d
                      } to answer unto Elias King Ex^r of y^e last will & Testam^t. of Edward Swettnam
