        Whereupon y^e S^d pltf bÿ Richard Macklin his att^rÿ Saÿeth That y^e S^d Will^m
      Mackeÿ of Kent Countÿ Carpenter Stands attached to answer unto Natthaniel
      Hÿnson of a plea of trespass upon y^e Case
       As p^r Declⁿ & acc^t afs^d filed |in this Court (in Due form) p^r y^e S^d Macklin y^e
      Same maÿ more fullÿ appear: Thereupon y^e S^d Def^t comes into Court in
      his proper p^rson and Saÿeth y^t he Canñot Gainesaÿ y^e S^d pltf in his S^d accõn
      Soe as afs^d brought and is therefore willing y^t Judg^t be Intr’ed against
      him for y^e Sum^e afs^d &c^a

      This 28^th Daÿ of March anno Dñi 1704 That y^e S^d Natt^ll Hÿnson pltf —
      recover ag^t y^e S^d W^m: Mackeÿ Def^t as well y^e Sum^e of three hundred & —
      fourtÿ pounds of tob^o y^e Debt afs^d as y^e Sum^e of two hundred twentÿ [?] &
      Nine pounds of tob^o Cost of Suit & y^e Def^t in mercÿ &c^a —

	\| and a Coppÿ of y^e Declaⁿ being Sent w^th y^e writt in ord^r for
	Trÿall a^t This Court according to act of assemblÿ the Sher^f

      makes retⁿ hereof Cepi Corpus p^r John Hawkins Sher^f. Whereupon y^e S^d
      Def^t appears, and y^e pltf praÿs baile to this accõn w^ch Granted, and y^e S^d
      Def^t being Comitted to y^e Sher^fs Custodÿ for want of baile as afs^d; Comes
      Into Court William Whitehead & under takes to be baile to this accõn according
      to Law, & after w^ch y^e S^d Def^t Comes into Court & Saÿeth y^t he Cannot Gain:
     : Saÿ y^e S^d pltf in his S^d accõn Soe as afs^d brought ag^t him for y^e Debt Specifÿed
      in y^e S^d pltfs Declaⁿ & acc^t Specifÿed and is therefore willing y^t Judg^t be Intred &c^a
           Which being bÿ y^e Court heard, It is bÿ y^e Justices here Considered this

      John Burk as well y^e Sum^e of Eleven hundred fiftÿ & three pounds of tob^o
      the Debt afs^d as y^e Sum^e of two hundred Sixtÿ & five Cost of Suit

Thomas Joce Def^t	\| William Haÿwood of a plea of trespass unpon y^e Case
	\| for y^e Sum^e of five pounds Sixteen Shillings, as fullÿ app^rs
	\| p^r Declaⁿ & acc^t filed in this Court in Due form bÿ Edward Bonwick
