      anno Dni 1703 The S^d John Johnson take nothing bÿ his writt afs^d
      but be in mercÿ for his false Clam^r, & y^t y^e Joⁿ Nicholson goe thereof (y^e
      S^d writt w^thout Daÿ, It is likewise Considered bÿ y^e S^d Justices here the
      Daÿ & year afs^d that y^e S^d John Niholson recover a^t y^e S^d John Joⁿson
      the Sum^e of three hundred & nine pounds of tobacco for his Cost of
      Suit Laid out & Expended according to y^e form of y^e Statute

a^t	\| Daÿ of Ja^rÿ anno Dni 1702 to take W^m: Burris of Kent
W^m: Burris ~ -	\| Countÿ if to be found in his Bailewick & him Selfe
	keep Soe y^t he have his bodÿ before the Justices of,
	S^d Countÿ Court to be held att y^e Court house on Chester
	River on y^e 4^th tuesdaÿ in March next &c^a att w^ch
	S^d next Court to witt on y^e 23^th Daÿ of March An^o
	Dni 1703 being the Daÿ of y^e retⁿ of y^e writt
	Sher^f

      And y^e S^d Def^t bÿ Michael Earle his att^rÿ Comes & praÿs leave to Imp^rle
      hereunto untill next Court w^ch is Given to witt on y^e 22^th Daÿ of June
      anno Dni 1703 This accõn was Continued, and Soe Continued from Court
      to Court untill this p^rsent Court, to witt, this 23^th Daÿ of November
      Anno Dni 1703 Comes y^e S^d Def^t bÿ his att^rÿ afs^d, to appear to y^e pltf
      his accõn Soe as afs^d brought a^t him, And Richard Macklin here
      in Court who is y^e S^d pltf Att^rÿ in this accõn, Saÿeth y^t he has had
      noe Instructions from his S^d Clÿent to Declare his Cause of ~
      accon, Whereupon the Def^t bÿ his Att^rÿ afs^d praÿs a nonsuit —
      according to act of assemblÿ w^ch is Granted him
           Its therefore Considered bÿ the Court here this Daÿ to witt y^e
      23^th Daÿ of 9ber an^o 1703 That y^e S^d pltf take nothing bÿ his writt
      afs^d but be in mercÿ &c^a & that y^e S^d Def^t Goe thereof w^thout
      Daÿ It is likewise Considered bÿ them y^e Daÿ & year afs^d
      that y^e S^d Def^t recover a^t the S^d pltf as well y^e Sum^e of fiftÿ
      pounds of tobacco for a non Suit as y^e Sum^e of two hundred & one pds
      of to tob^o his Cost of Suit Laid out & Expended in this behalfe
      according to y^e form of y^e Statute
