      And whereupon the Dainiel bÿ Richard Macklin his Attrÿ Complaines yt whereas ye Sd Andrew
      the 18th Daÿ of Aprill Anno Dñi 1702 att Tallbott Countÿ wthin the Jurisdiction of this
      Court Stood in Debted unto ye Said in ye Sume of one pound tenn Shillings Sterg and ye Sd Andrew
      being Soe Indebted Soe as afsd Did Draw a Certain note or Script. Signed wth ye prper
      name of ye Said Andrew Directed to a certaine Richard Bennett of Tallbott Countÿ req=
      :uesting ye Said Richard Bennett to paÿ to a certaine Daniel Sherwood ye Sume of 1ls:10s:00 Sterg
      wch Said note or Script is here in Court brought, In Consideration thereof ye Said Andrew upon
      himselfe assumed & to ye Sd Daniel Sherwood faithfullÿ promissed that if in Case ye Said
      Richard Beñett Should faile in ye paÿmt of Sd Sume of 01ls:10s: unto him ye Said Daniel ~
      Sherwood that then he ye Said Andrew ye Sume of 01ls:10s:00 unto ye Said Daniel Sherwood
      would & truelÿ paÿ when thereunto required and the Said Daniel in fact Saÿeth yt he
      Did prsent ye Sd note or Script unto ye Said Richard Bennett requireing of ye Sd Richd
      the paÿmt of ye Said moneÿ in ye Sd Note Contained, who Utterlÿ refused ye paÿmt ~
      Thereof yett nevertheless ye Sd Andrew ye to paÿ | according to his afsd promiss &
      assumption allthough often Demanded hath Denÿed & utterlÿ refused and Still ~
      Doth Denÿ & refuse to ye Damãge of ye Sd Daniel Sherwood 3ls:00s:00d & thereupon
      he brings this Suit                           Macklin pr qr Pledges Jon Doe Rd Roe

      Whereupon the Said Andrew makes noe appearance neither bÿ himselfe nor his
      attrÿ and in Case of non appearance The Sd pltf bÿ his Sd attrÿ praÿs ~
      Judgmt wch Granted to [illegible] him upon Default:
        Therefore Its Cosidered | bÿ this Court ) here this Daÿ to witt ye 24th Daÿ of
      August anno Dñi 1703 That ye Sd pltf recover agt ye Said Defendt as well ye
      Sume of one pound tenn Shillings Debt as afsd as ye Sume of two hundred and –
