      Charles the four & twentieth Daÿ of Janrÿ Anno Dñi 1701 wthin the
      Jurisdiction a fore Said had Lent unto the Said Charles the Sume
      of five Shills Sterg moneÿ which in Tobacco att one pennÿ pr pd
      amõunts to the Sume of Sixtÿ pounds of tobo all which Said
      goods wares & mercahndizes Sold & Delivered and moneÿ lent att one
      pennÿ pr pounds in tobo amõunts in the whole to the Sume of one thou=
      Sand nine hundred fiftÿ & nine pounds of tobacco as bÿ an acct
      thereof to this Decln annexed and here in Court brought the Same apprs
      In Condracon whereof the Said Charles upon himselfe assumed & unto ye
      Said fflower then & there faithfullÿ prmissed that he the Charles when

                                         Earle their attrÿ Complaines & Saÿeth that where~

        our Lord Xpt 1700 in Said Countÿ Countÿ wthin the Jurisdiction of this Court att
        the Especiall Instance & request of the Said William had Sold & Delivered unto
        him the Said William bÿ ye Said Marÿ Divers Goods Wares & merchandizes
        as bÿ an acct to this Decln annexed & herein Court brought the Same p apprs:
        ammounting in the whole to the Sume of four pounds Sixteen Shills Six
        pence Sterg In Condracon whereof the Said William upon himselfe
        assumed & unto ye Sd Marÿ when Sole faithfullÿ prmissed that he ye
        Said William the aforesd Sume of 4ls: 16s: 06d Sterg unto ye Said ~
        Marÿ he wold well & truelÿ paÿ when thereunto afterwards required
        yett notwthstanding the [illegible] aforesaid Sume of 4ls: 16s: 06d Sterg according
        to his prmiss & assumption unto the Said Marÿ when Sole he did not paÿ
