      that plea in Manner and form afd pleaded hath no necessity
      Nor by the Law of the Land is bound to Make Answer thereunto
      And this he is ready to averr and thereupon prays Judgt: &ca
Imprs. the Defendt. Sayth yt. A Certaine Edward Stevenson
      and David Wilson Book keeper or agent for ye. Said Plf
      And Edwd. Stevenson accounted with the Said plaintf at which
      Day of accounting the Said Rennatus Smith past his obligation
      to the said plaintf. or Edwd. Stevenson &ca. who Seemed to be
      Joyntly Concerned &ca. being the balle. of All Accounts between
      the Said Plaintf Stevenson and Deft.- Which is too Grãll ==
      A way of pleading and to which the deft. Cannot Answer &ca
                And the Sd. Deft. Sayth yt. the plea afd and the Matter
      therein doth hold Sufficient &ca: and prays Judgt. &ca:

      tobacco ye. Debt afd As the Sume of three hundred and
      thirteen ~    ~ &ca. ~ pounds of tobaco Cost of Suit and ye.
