           of Kent County Issued in these words vizt. ~
                     William the third &ca. to the Coroner of Kent County Greeting Wee Command
           you that by good and Lawfull men of your bayliwick you Make known unto Elias King
           Sherf. of Said County if to be found him your bayliwick So that he be and appeare
           before our Justices of our next Court to be held for the Said County the fourth
           Tuesday of January next to Shew Cause if any he have why Execution Shd
           not Issue against him as well for the Sume of Seven hundred Sixty nine
           pounds of tobo. with Additionall Costs of Suit according to a Judgt. recovered
           against him by Henry Carter before our Justices at a Court at
           Held for our Said County as appeares by record of which he is convict
           hereof faile not at yr. Prill and have you then and there this writt
           Wittness &ca. ~~ Of which writt the Coroner made no retn. Notwith
           =Standing Which, the Said Elias King Sherf. on ye. fourth Tuesday afd
           To wit ye. twenty Seventh day of Janry Anno Domi 1701/ Comes into
           Court And In his proper Person Says that he cannot Shew cause
           why Execution of the Judgt. afd So as afd recovered against him
           Should not against him be    Issued; and is therefore willing that the
           Sd. Judgt. be affirmed agt. him.
                          It is therefore Considered by the Court here this twenty
           Seventh day of Janry afd That the Said Judgt. And every Clause
           therein be affirmed and be deemed as valid as when the Said Judgt
           was first obtained.    And that the Said Henry Carter May have
           thereof Execution ~~~ And of the Sume of one hundred Sixty Six pds
           of tobacco cost accruing upon ye. Sci fa and Affirma. of ye. Judgt. afd    ~
