Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ of the Acts of the General

Assembly of 1980) be repealed, amended, or enacted to read
as follows:

Article - Financial Institutions

9-401.

(c) Notwithstanding subtitle 3 of this title, a
savings and loan association may pay an additional dividend
on a free share account if:

(1) The Board of Commissioners authorizes a
dividend;

(2) The payment is in accordance with the rules
and regulations of the Board of Commissioners;

[(3) The dividend rate is not more than 1.5
percent annually;] and

[(4)](3) The account is maintained at a specified
minimum amount for a specified minimum time.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore and Annapolis Public Buildings and Grounds -
Age of Police Officer

FOR the purpose of allowing certain persons above the age of
35 years to hold the position of police officer in the
Baltimore and Annapolis Public Buildings and Grounds
Security Force; and making this Act an emergency
measure.
