EMERGENCY BILL

AN EMERGENCY ACT concerning

Tangible Personal Property Tax

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Director of Finance
to render estimated tangible personal property tax bills to
taxpayers whenever the State Department of Assessments and
Taxation has not forwarded assessments of such taxable
personal property by September 1 of the fiscal year, and to
provide generally for the collection of taxes based on such
estimated bill and for the refund or collection of the
balance of the tangible personal property tax when the
amount of the tax is finally determined.
