"Finance" of the Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended,
to raise to Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars the authority
of the County Attorney to settle claims against the County
without the approval of the County Executive.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Subsection (e) of Section
24-33A, title "Health Systems Agency, County Council and
County Executive" of Chapter 24, title "Health and
Sanitation" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended,
to revise the Council's authority to approve or disapprove
any proposed Board action previously reviewed by the Council
or Executive; and to make certain technical corrections to
the titles of various sections.
Effective Date September 5, 1978.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Section 23A-10, title
"Program certification; Program Review Board;
responsibilities and procedures" of Article III, title
"Program Review" of Chapter 23A, title "Group Residential
Care Facilities" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as
amended, to establish the minimum and maximum number of
members to be appointed to the Program Review Board and to
define a quorum.
Effective Date September 13, 1978.

Chief Administrative Officer", of Article III, title
"Executive Branch," of Chapter 2, title "Administration";

Chapter 11, title "Consumer Protection"; of the Montgomery
County Code 1972, as amended, to establish as principal
offices in the Executive Branch an Office of Personnel and
a Budget and Research Office under the immediate direction
