Bill No. 67-79

AN ACT to increase the rate of recordation tax
applicable to instruments recorded with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Baltimore County, by repealing and
re-enacting with amendments, Section 11-93 of Article XI.
Recordation Tax, title "Finance and Taxation" of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968.

WHEREAS, Section 277(q) of Article 81, Annotated Code
of Maryland, 1975 Replacement Volume (1978 Cumulative
Supplement), authorizes the County to fix the rate of
recordation tax applicable to instruments recorded in
Baltimore County; and

WHEREAS, notice of the proposed increase in the rate of
recordation tax was advertised for three consecutive weeks
in two newspapers published in the County as required by
Section 11-15(c) of the Baltimore County Code, 1968, and the
public hearing held concerning said proposed increase.

AN ACT to prohibit sanitary landfills in Baltimore
County from being open for certain purposes during certain
hours by adding new subsection (q) to Section 13-49 of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968, title "Health and Sanitation",
Article IV. Garbage, Trash, Ashes and Other Offensive
Matter, Division 2. Incineration and Sanitary Landfills.

AN ACT to increase the charge for issuance of a lien
certificate, by repealing and re-enacting with amendments,
Section 11-25(a) of Article II. Director of Finance, title
"Finance and Taxation" of the Baltimore County Code, 1968.
