COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

Subtitle, Article VI, "Special Districts", heading "Maritime
Group Districts"; to add new Sections 13-343.2(f),
13-343.9B, 13-343.12 and 13-343.15 to the same Code, Title,
Subtitle, Article XI, "Special Exceptions"; and to add new
Sections 13-344(a) and (b), 13-344.1 and 13-344.1A to the
same Code, Title, Subtitle, Article XII, "Site Plan Review";
to change and create new zoning requirements for marina
group district uses; to change and create definitions;
renumbering and relettering certain zoning provisions,
changing and adding certain special exception conditions for
marina-related uses; changing and adding certain site plan
and other administrative requirements relating to marina and
other uses; providing that the ordinance shall apply on and
after the effective date in a certain manner; to
substantially accomplish, by enactment of this ordinance,
enactment of all provisions intended to have been enacted by
Bill 46-79, and declaring that the ordinance herein is an
emergency measure generally relating to changes in and
additions to the Alternate Zoning Regulations relating to
marina uses in Anne Arundel County.

WHEREAS, In addition to other purposes expressed in the
title to this bill, the purpose of this bill is to
accomplish the purposes of Bill 46-79 by enactment and the
taking effect of this ordinance in order that certain
deficiencies in legislative procedure alleged to have
occurred during legislative and other sessions of this
County Council in which Bill No. 46-79, as amended, was
considered, shall not have invalidated the purposes and
effect of Bill 46-79, and it is the express intent of the
County Council to accomplish with this bill the same
legislative changes that would have been achieved if each
and every provision of Bill No. 46-79 were validly enacted,
and this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance and necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health, safety, welfare and property; now,
therefore

AN ORDINANCE to add new Section 12-1716(d) to the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title
12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Subtitle 17,
"Miscellaneous Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Article V,
CATV Franchises", to follow immediately after Section
12-1716(c) thereof, to grant to CATV General Corporation a
non-exclusive CATV franchise for a certain portion of the
southern franchise district; and matters generally related
thereto.

Effective Date December 11, 1979.
