RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL

OF THE CITY OF MT. RAINIER, MARYLAND

RESOLUTION NO. 79-2

BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to ARTICLE 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, the following amendment to
ARTICLE 53, SECTION 21 of the Charter of the City of Mt.
Rainier be adopted:

[Section 53-21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Effective Date April 25, 1979]

RESOLUTION - CR 79-3

A resolution to repeal and reenact Chapter 53, Section
29 of the Charter of the City of Mt. Rainier to bring the
borrowing power to be consistent with the current interest
rate and cost index.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 23A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland.

[Section 53-29 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, 1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement,
repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date October 15, 1979]

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 4-1979

WHEREAS, the City of Mt. Rainier is desirous of
amending its City Charter so as to reflect a maximum tax
rate of 65 cents per $100 of assessed value.

[Section 53-25(a) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, 1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement,
repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date December 29, 1979]
