AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City - Property Tax Exemptions -
Limited Distribution Housing

FOR the purpose of allowing Baltimore City to exempt certain
housing projects from local real property taxes
pursuant to certain agreements; permitting Baltimore
City to abate or reduce certain local real property
taxes; and presenting certain material for
informational purposes.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 1260.

This bill allows Baltimore City to exempt certain
housing projects from local real property taxes pursuant to
certain agreements.

Senate Bill 771, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 6, 1980 accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
1260.
