House Bill No. 1065

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Garbage Truck Tolerance

FOR the purpose of permitting certain garbage and refuse
trucks in Baltimore County certain rear axle load limit
tolerances under certain conditions.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 1065.

This bill provides that in Baltimore County garbage
trucks under contract to the County, and under certain
conditions, are to be permitted a 10 percent rear axle load
limit tolerance.

Senate Bill 513, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 6, 1980 accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
1065.
