VETOES

This bill authorizes a State debt to be used for
capital improvements at the Weinberg Center.

House Bill 461, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 27, 1980 accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate Bill
486.

Senate Bill No. 510

AN ACT concerning

State Division of Parole and Probation - Reimbursement to

Baltimore County

FOR the purpose of requiring the Division of Parole and
Probation of Maryland to reimburse Baltimore County at
a certain rate for certain space, equipment, and
facilities.

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 510.

This bill requires the Division of Parole and Probation
of Maryland to reimburse Baltimore County for space,
equipment and facilities used by the Division.

House Bill 877, which as enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 27, 1980 accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate Bill
510.
