SECTION 1. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
3-710 through 3-714, respectively, of Article - Financial
Institutions, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (as enacted

by Chapter _____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the General

Assembly of 1980) be renumbered to be Section(s) 3-709
through 3-713, respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Harness Racing - Standardbred Sires Stakes

Program

FOR the purpose of establishing a Maryland Standardbred
Sires Stakes Program in this State; providing for the

funding of such a program; providing for the

establishment of certain procedures; and generally
relating to a Maryland Standardbred Sires Stakes Sires
Stakes Program as part of the Maryland Standardbred
Race Fund; providing for the running of races at
harness tracks with purses for horses qualifying under
the Sires Stakes Program; changing the composition and
duties of the Maryland Standardbred Race Fund Advisory
Committee; providing for termination of terms of
present members of the Committee; and specifying
details of the Standardbred Sires Stakes Program.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
