AN ACT concerning

Public Service Commission -
Liquified Petroleum Natural Gas

FOR the purpose of permitting the Public Service Commission
to establish certain standards for liquified petroleum
gas service at certain locations under certain
conditions; providing for a certain scope of the
provisions of this Act; requiring certain persons to
comply with certain standards made by the Public
Service Commission; applying the orders of the
Commission under certain sections of the Public Service
Commission Law; providing exceptions; and providing
certain duties for certain people relating to
furnishing gas service at certain locations under
certain conditions.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

75C.

(A)  THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT IN ANY WAY THE
JURISDICTION EXERCISED BY THE COMMISSION OVER PUBLIC SERVICE
COMPANIES FURNISHING LIQUIDIED PETROLEUM GAS SERVICE UNDER
EXISTING FRANCHISES.

(B)  THE COMMISSION SHALL ESTABLISH AND ENFORCE SAFETY
STANDARDS OF SERVICE FOR GAS SERVICE INSTALLATIONS AT
LOCATIONS WHERE SERVICE IS PROVIDED TO TEN OR MORE CUSTOMERS
OR TEN OR MORE SEPARATE RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNITS BY PIPES
FROM A CENTRAL LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS STORAGE TANK.

(C) (1) THE PERSON, AS DEFINED IN § 2 OF THIS ARTICLE,
OWNING THE FACILITIES AT THESE LOCATIONS OR THE LIQUIFIED
