of the regulations enacted by the respective district
councils. A building permit is not required for buildings
and structures to be used exclusively for purposes of
agriculture upon land used exclusively for agriculture, in
any part of the regional district in which there does not
now exist provision of law or ordinance designating an
administrative official by whom building permits are to be
issued, the appropriate district council shall designate
this official. An act, ordinance, or regulation issued under
the authority of this article does not require the approval
by the Commission of any building permit in Montgomery
County or Prince George's County, and any acts, ordinances,
or regulations inconsistent herewith are repealed to the
extent of the inconsistency. However, in Montgomery County
[and Prince George's County,] all building permit
applications shall be referred to the Commission for review
and recommendations as to zoning requirements. IN PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY, THE COUNTY COUNCIL MAY PROVIDE BY ORDINANCE
FOR THE REFERRAL OF SOME OR ALL BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS
TO THE COMMISSION FOR REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO
ZONING REQUIREMENTS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission -
Transfer of Authority to Establish Road Grades in
Prince George's County
PG/MC 21-80
FOR the purpose of providing that, in Prince George's
County, the Department of Public Works and
Transportation of that county shall administer the
authority to establish road grades in lieu of the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 66D - Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission
