St. Mary's Commission - (1) for design and preparation
of detailed plans and specifications for St. John's
Archaeological Exhibit, and (2) to supplement the
appropriation for the preparation of preliminary plans
and specifications for the construction of a Visitor
Center Complex, and (3) for design and preparation of
detailed plans and specifications for the State House
of 1676 and tavern exhibits; suspending any provisions
of law imposing a time limit for placing under contract
projects included in item 23.05.02.01 of Chapter 44 of
the Acts of 1978, "Board of Public Works - Capital
Appropriation", insofar as those provisions relate to
the item contained on page 917 of the Acts of 1978 for
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Mental
Retardation Administration - for planning of a Southern
Maryland Mental Retardation Center; suspending the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of
1973 and Section 1(9) of Chapter 795 of the Acts of
1978 relating to the time by which projects contained
in the General Construction Loans of 1973 and 1978 must
be placed under contract insofar as either or both of
those provisions may relate to the item contained in
the amendment to Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973 made
in Section 2 of Chapter 795 of the Acts of 1978 for
Board of Public Works - Annapolis - to supplement the
appropriation for the design and preparation of
detailed plans and specifications for a State Office
Building for the Department of Agriculture.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195
of the Acts of 1973, suspended by Section 1 of Chapter 563
of the Acts of 1975 and by Section 4 of Chapter 707 of the
Acts of 1977, be and they are hereby further suspended
insofar as they impose a time limit for placing under
contract the following project contained in Section 5.2 of
Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973, as amended by Chapter 137
of the Acts of 1978:

Section 5.2(T)(l)(a) Department of Economic
and Community Development: St. Mary's City
Commission - Contingent upon the approval by the
Board of Public Works of the proposed site,
preparation of preliminary plans and
specifications for the construction of a Visitor

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973,
suspended by Section 1 of Chapter 563 of the Acts of 1975
and by Section 5 of Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977, be and
they are hereby further suspended insofar as they impose a
time limit for placing under contract the following projects
contained in Section 5.2 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973,
as amended by Section 1 of Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977
and by Section 1 of Chapter 357 of the Acts of 1978:
