Ch. 722

Loan of 1976 must be placed under contract insofar as
those provisions relate to the item contained in
Chapter 914 of the Acts of 1976, as amended by Chapter
717 of the Acts of 1978, for a grant to restore and
rehabilitate the Charles Carroll House in Annapolis;
suspending the provisions of Section 1(9) of Chapter
795 of the Acts of 1978 relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan of
1978 must be placed under contract insofar as those
provisions relate to items contained in Chapter 795 of
the Acts of 1978 for the Board of Public Works - (1)
for the construction of a State-owned Multi-Service
Center in Upper Marlboro, Prince George's County, and
(2) to supplement the appropriation for the State's
share to construct a District Court Multi-Service
Center Building in Westminster; and for the Department
of Health and Mental Hygiene - Mental Retardation
Administration - for planning a facility for mentally
retarded persons in Harford County; suspending any
provisions of law imposing a time limit for placing
under contract projects included in item 23.05.02.01 of
Chapter 44 of the Acts of 1978, "Board of Public Works

-  Capital Appropriation", insofar as those provisions
relate to items contained on pages I-102 through I-111
of Volume I of the Maryland State Budget for Fiscal
Year ending June 30, 1979 for the Board of Public Works

- General - (1) for acquisition of additional land
adjacent to the Glen Burnie District
Court/Multi-Service Center site in Anne Arundel County,
and (2) to supplement the appropriation for the
construction of a Multi-Service Center in Centreville,
Queen Anne's County; for the Department of Natural
Resources - Fisheries Administration - St. Mary's
Fishing Lake - for construction of an access road and
parking; for the Department of Natural Resources -
Maryland Park Service - Greenbrier State Park - for
construction of day use and camping facilities; for the
Department of Natural Resources - Maryland Park Service

-  Sandy Point State Park - for renovation of the Sandy
Point Farmhouse and barn; for the Department of Health

and Mental Hygiene - Juvenile Services Administration

Headquarters - Montrose School for construction of

new athletic fields; for the University of Maryland -
College Park Campus - for design and preparation of
detailed plans and specifications for a complete steam
condensate return system; for University of Maryland

Eastern Shore Campus for the provision of new curbs,

gutters, sidewalks, driveways, storm water control, and
landscaping on campus; for State Universities and
Colleges - Towson State University - for design and
preparation of detailed plans and specifications for
the renovation of Stephens Hall; for State Universities
and Colleges - University of Baltimore - for planning
and preparation of preliminary plans and specifications
for development of outdoor athletic facilities and
related improvements on the Mt. Washington Campus; for
the Department of Economic and Community Development -
