of the first Board shall be appointed within ninety days
after July 1, 1957, to serve the following terms: two
members for one year, two members for two years and one
member for three years from July 1, 1957. Thereafter, at]
(D) AT the expiration of the term of each member, the
Governor, upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Health
and Mental Hygiene, shall appoint his successor for a term
of three years.
(E) Before entering upon the duties of his office,
each member of the Board shall take the constitutional oath
of office and file it with the Secretary of State. [Each
member of the Board first appointed under this subtitle
shall be issued a certificate of certification.]

Each PSYCHOLOGIST member of the Board shall be a
citizen of the United States, a resident of this State, and
certifiable under this subtitle, except that the members
comprising the Board as first appointed shall be persons who
have been engaged in rendering service, teaching or research
in psychology for a period of at least five years and who
hold a doctoral degree therein. To assure adequate
representation of the diverse fields of psychology the
Governor shall so make his appointments that the Board has
at least two members who are engaged primarily in rendering
service in psychology, and at least two members who are
engaged primarily in teaching, training or research in
psychology.

For purposes of this subtitle:
(7) "FINANCIAL INTEREST" MEANS:
(I) AN ASSET WITH A FAIR MARKET VALUE OF
$1,000 OR MORE IN A CALENDAR YEAR; OR
(II) A SOURCE OF INCOME OF $500 OR MORE IN
A CALENDAR YEAR.
(8) "HOUSEHOLD MEMBER" MEANS:
(I) A PERSON'S SPOUSE, SON, DAUGHTER,
WARD, FINANCIALLY DEPENDENT PARENT, OR OTHER RELATIVE WHO
SHARES THE PERSON'S LEGAL RESIDENCE; OR
(II) A PERSON'S SON, DAUGHTER, WARD,
PARENT, OR OTHER RELATIVE OVER WHOSE FINANCIAL AFFAIRS THE
PERSON HAS LEGAL OR ACTUAL CONTROL.
