3. HAVE NEVER PARTICIPATED IN A
RELATED COMMERCIAL OR PROFESSIONAL FIELD, NOR HAVE A
HOUSEHOLD MEMBER WHO PARTICIPATES IN A RELATED COMMERCIAL OR
PROFESSIONAL FIELD;
4. HAVE NOT WITHIN 2 YEARS PRIOR TO
APPOINTMENT NOR DURING THE TERM OF APPOINTMENT HAD A
FINANCIAL INTEREST IN AN INDIVIDUAL, ASSOCIATION,
UNINCORPORATED ASSOCIATION, CORPORATION, OR ANY OTHER ENTITY
WHICH IS REGULATED BY THE BOARD; AND
5. MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES
RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS UNLESS APPROVED BY THE BOARD.

(E) "FINANCIAL INTEREST" MEANS:
(1) AN ASSET WITH A FAIR MARKET VALUE OF $1,000
OR MORE IN A CALENDAR YEAR; OR
(2) A SOURCE OF INCOME OF $500 OR MORE IN A
CALENDAR YEAR.
(F) "HOUSEHOLD MEMBER" MEANS:
(1) A PERSON'S SPOUSE, SON, DAUGHTER, WARD,
FINANCIALLY DEPENDENT PARENT, OR OTHER RELATIVE WHO SHARES
THE PERSON'S LEGAL RESIDENCE; OR
(2) A PERSON'S SON, DAUGHTER, WARD, PARENT, OR
OTHER RELATIVE OVER WHOSE FINANCIAL AFFAIRS THE PERSON HAS
LEGAL OR ACTUAL CONTROL.

(a) (1) The State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
as it existed prior to June 1, 1968 is continued, except
that the Board shall consist of [five] SIX members.
(2) The Board shall be part of the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene.
(3) [Three] FIVE members of the Board shall be
physical therapists who are licensed to practice physical
therapy under this subtitle and who are actively engaged in
physical therapy in the State. [Two members of the Board
shall be licensed to practice medicine under the provisions
of this article until the termination of their respective
terms on or before June 1, 1977 and July 1, 1978; upon the
termination, a physical therapist who is licensed to
practice physical therapy under this subtitle and who is
actively engaged in physical therapy in the State shall be
appointed.]
(4) ONE MEMBER SHALL BE A CONSUMER WHO:
