(a) The provisions in §§ 159, 159A, 159B, 159C and 159D
shall be applicable to Baltimore, Calvert, Dorchester,
Somerset, Wicomico Worcester, Charles, Garrett, Caroline,
Cecil, Harford, Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Talbot,
Washington, Anne Arundel, [and] Frederick, AND CARROLL
counties only.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Comprehensive Health Planning

FOR the purpose of conforming State law to the federal act
entitled "National Health Planning and Resource
Development Act of 1974" as amended in 1979; defining
certain terms; generally relating to health maintenance
organization and the requirement for a certificate of
need; and modifying the provisions relating to
certificate of need applications; and generally
relating to the provisions dealing with State law
regarding Comprehensive Health Planning.
