OTHER DOCUMENTS OR RECORDS WHICH THE COMMISSIONER DEEMS
RELEVANT OR MATERIAL TO THE INQUIRY.

(C)  IN CASE OF CONTUMACY OR REFUSAL TO OBEY A SUBPOENA
BY ANY PERSON, THE CIRCUIT COURT, UPON APPLICATION BY THE
COMMISSIONER, MAY ISSUE TO THE PERSON AN ORDER REQUIRING HIM
TO APPEAR BEFORE THE COMMISSIONER, OR THE OFFICER DESIGNATED
BY HIM, THERE TO PRODUCE DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE, IF SO
ORDERED, OR TO GIVE EVIDENCE TOUCHING THE MATTER UNDER
INVESTIGATION OR IN QUESTION. FAILURE TO OBEY THE ORDER OF
THE COURT MAY BE PUNISHED BY THE COURT AS A CONTEMPT.

(D)  A PERSON IS NOT EXCUSED FROM ATTENDING OR
TESTIFYING OR FROM PRODUCING ANY DOCUMENT OR RECORD BEFORE
THE COMMISSIONER, OR IN OBEDIENCE TO THE SUBPOENA OF THE
COMMISSIONER OR ANY OFFICER DESIGNATED BY HIM, OR IN ANY
PROCEEDING INSTITUTED BY THE COMMISSIONER, ON THE GROUND
THAT THE TESTIMONY OR EVIDENCE REQUIRED OF HIM MAY TEND TO
INCRIMINATE HIM OR SUBJECT HIM TO A PENALTY OR FORFEITURE.
HOWEVER, AN INDIVIDUAL MAY NOT BE PROSECUTED OR SUBJECTED TO
ANY PENALTY TO FORFEITURE FOR OR ON ACCOUNT OF ANY SPECIFIC

(A)  AT THE FIRST PERSONAL MEETING OF THE SELLER AND A
PROSPECTIVE PURCHASER FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING THE SALE
OR POSSIBLE SALE, OR AT LEAST 10 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE A
PURCHASER SIGNS A BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY CONTRACT OR PAYS ANY
CONSIDERATION TO THE SELLER, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST, THE
SELLER SHALL PROVIDE THE PURCHASER OR PROSPECTIVE PURCHASER
WITH A WRITTEN COPY OF THE DISCLOSURE REQUIRED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE.

(B)  THE DISCLOSURE SHALL BE PREPARED ACCORDING TO THE
FORMAT PRESCRIBED BY THE COMMISSIONER AND SHALL INCLUDE THE
FOLLOWING:

(1) A COVER SHEET, HEADED IN AT LEAST 10-POINT
BOLDFACE CAPITAL LETTERS, "DISCLOSURE REQUIRED BY MARYLAND
LAW". UNDER THIS HEADING SHALL APPEAR THE STATEMENT IN AT
LEAST 10-POINT TYPE THAT "THE STATE OF MARYLAND HAS NOT
REVIEWED AND DOES NOT APPROVE, RECOMMEND, ENDORSE, OR
SPONSOR ANY BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. THE INFORMATION CONTAINED
IN THIS DISCLOSURE HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED BY THE STATE. IF
YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS INVESTMENT, SEE AN
