SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 9 - Charles County

88.

[(a) For the collection of all taxes for State or
county purposes that may be due on April 11. 1910, the
treasurer shall proceed as required by Section 9 of Chapter
509 of the Acts of 1908. For all taxes which are levied
after April 11, 1910, and that are due and in arrear, the
treasurer shall immediately after the first day of February
in each year make up a list of all delinquent taxpayers, and
the amount for which they are respectively in arrears, and
publish the list in one week's edition in not more than
three newspapers of general circulation published in Charles
County. If the amounts due and in arrears are not paid on
or before the first day of April next succeeding the
