     In the name of God amen November 5th. 1783 I Nathaniel ~
   Knock Senr of Kent County and State of Maryland being sick of Body ~
   but of sound mind or memory do make Constitute and ordain this –
   my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to Say
   I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Knock her heirs + Assigns
   forever one Negro Girl called Easter —
   I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Knock her heirs –
   and Assigns for ever one Negro Girl called Mint —
   I give and bequeath to my son John Knock his heirs & Assigns forever
   all that part of a Tract of Land called Chesterfield lying and being in
   Kent County and State of Maryland begining on the North side of the
   Road that leads from the head of Chester in the County and State
   afd to Duck Creek Cross roads in Kent County and Delaware State
   and within Twenty yards of the upper Corner of my Fence, And runing
   with the aforesd. road Eighty yards front, then back from said road ~
   one hundred yards deep, and then to run such courses as will make
   the said Lot as nearly Square as possible. and to Contain Eighty yards
   front by one hundred yards deep. —
   I give and bequeath to my son Daniel Knock his heirs and Assigns ~
   forever one Lot of Ground lying and being in the County and State afd
   and part of the afd Tract of Land called Chesterfield, begining at the upper
   Corner of the first line of the Lot of Ground bequeathed to my son John
   and runing Eighty yards front on the afd road that leads from the
   head of Chester to Duck Creek as afd, then back from said Road one ~
   hundred yards, then to run such other Courses as to make the Lott
   as nearly Square as possible, and to Contain Eighty yards by one –
   hundred yards of Land. —
   I give and bequeath to my son Nathaniel Knock his Heirs + Assigns forever
   one lott of Ground lying and being in the County and State afd, part of the
   afd Tract of Land called Chesterfield, begining at the upper^Cornerof the first lines
   of the Lott bequeath to my Son Daniel, and runing Eighty yards front. on
