        In the name of God amen I Mary Beswick of Kent County
   Maryland being sick and weak in Body but of sound mind memory +
   Understanding, do make and publish this my last Will & Testament as follows
   First I leave in the hands of Mr Stephen Kinnard my Negro Man. ~
   called Bob. or Robert to be Accounted for at the rate of Sixteen pounds
   ten Shillings pr year and to be Sufficiently Cloathed untill the hire
   of mysdNegro shall pay my Just Debts, as well as pay said Mr Stephen
   Kinnard for my board and myanyother Just charges that may hereafter
   Incrue, then after such debts and charges is paid by my Executor ~
   I give and bequeath the afd Negro Bob unto my beloved Brother ~
   Nathan Beswick. I also give and bequeath unto my beloved Sister
   Susanah Beswick one flowed Cotton Gound and one Striped Cotton Gound
   and one black Sjurtm and one Gold ring, and one pair of silver shoe
   Buckles. I also give and bequeath unto my beloved Sister Rebecca
   Beswick one Linsey pettycoat and Striped Cotton Gound, I also. ~
   give unto Mary Kinnard Daughter of Stephen Kinnard one Striped
   Cotton Habbit, my desire is that the restresidueof my Cloths may be divided
   between my two Sisters above mentioned, And I hereby Nominate +
   appoint Stephen Kinnard above mentioned Executor of this my –
   last Will and Testament I Witness whereof I have hereunto set my ~
   hand and Seal this tenth day of February in the year of our Lord 1784

   May.11th.1784 Then came Hannah Timms + William Pearce the two Subscribing Witnesses to the
   Within last Will and Testament of Mary Beswick late of Kent Coty deced + Severally
   made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did see the Testator
   therein named Sign + Seal this Will, And that they heard her publish pronounce
   and declare the same to be her last Will & Testament, and that at the time
   of her so doing she was to the best of their apprehensions of sound & disposing
   mind, memory and Understanding, and that they Respectively Subscribed their
   names as Witnesses to this Will, in the presence, and at the request of the –
   Testator and in the presence of each other. —       JNicholson Regr
