     In the name of God amen I Mary Garnett of Kent County
    in the State of Maryland Widow do make my last Will and ~
   Testament in manner following to Wit   —
   First I order and direct that all my Just Debts & Funeral Expences
   shall be paid by my Executor as soon as Conveniently can be done
   after
   by^ my EDecease ——
   Secondly I give and device to my Dear Daughter Anna Garnett
   a Gold mourning Urn and a Gold Lockett . —
   Thirdly I give and device to my Niece Martha Sudler one Gold mourn=
  =ing Ring and to my four Neices Anna Sudler Sarah Smyth Margaret
   Smyth and Juliana Smyth each a Gold Locket
   Fourthly I give and device all my personal Estate to my dear Daughter
   Anna Garnett. ——
   Fifthly I give and device to my dear Daughter Anna Garnett all my
   Lands and Tenements and to the Heirs of her Body lawfully begotten ~
   forever, but should it so happen that my said dear Daughter should ~
   die without such Heirs, then I devise my said Lands + Tenements to
   my Brother in Law and Sister Emory and Martha Sudler and the
   Survivor of them for life, they nor either of them doing or permitting
   any Waste to be done therein and after the death of the Survivor –
   of the said Emory and Martha then I devise the same to James. ~
   Smyth son of my dear Brother Thomas Smyth of Chester Town +
   his heirs forever, And should it further happen that the said ~
   James Smyth should die before my Daughter or should any —
   Contingency happen to present the said devise to him from taking
   Effect then I device my said Lands and Tenements to the next Young=
   est Brother of the said James who shall be living and capable of
   Inheriting and to his heirs forever, And should it so fall out —
   that none of the younger Brothers of the said James should. —
   Inherit by Virtue of this my Will then I give and device my —
   said Lands and Tenements to my dear Brother Thomas Smyth
