46 Lastly I hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my afd friend John Kinnard and my Son in Law James Piper Executors of this my Last Will and Testament annulling and revoking all former Will or Wills by me heretofore made declaring this and none other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and affixed my Seal this seventh day February in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven~ hundred and Eighty three. () Signed Sealed & Published and declared by James Mc.Clean – the above named Testator and for his Last Will & Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have Subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto Kent County Sst. March the Seventh 1783 I Hereby Certify that this Instrument of Writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of James Mc.Clean was. annexed to the Subjoining deposition at the time of making – thereof John Scott [?] Maryland Kent County Sst. The declaration or disposition of Thomas Bedingfield Hands who on the Seventh day of March 1783 Personally appeared. before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for Kent County afd and being sworn on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God. deposeth and saith, That being sent for by the deced James McClean of the County afd on the Eveing of the 5 of February last Past, he went to his House the next day, That he found him lying on the Bed with his cloaths on except his coat & waistcoat, that after some Conversation the deceased Mr McClean told this deponant he had sent for him to draw for him another Will (this deponant having drawn one for him about two years before ) that this deponant asked the deceased if a Codicil to his said former Will would not do the deced said No, for as there were great |
