33 In the name of God Amen I Archibald Wright of Kent County and State of Maryland being sick and weak in Body but of Sound mind and memory, First and principally I committ my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God, and my Body to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix here in after named, and after my Debts and funeral charges are paid it is my Will & desire as follows. First that my wife Margaret shall Injoy and possess all my real property in the County afd during her life, after her decease to decend to my Sons John Wright & William Wright in manner & form ~ following that is, that the real Estate shou’d be as equally divided between the said John and William as may be, and that after my beloved wife Margaret taking one third^partof my personal property, It is my Will & desire that the remaining part of my personal Estate should be Equally divided between my Children John, Mary, Ann, Suly, and William, And lastly I do appoint my dear Wife Margaret Wright to be sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, revoking & Annulling all former Wills by me heretofore made Ratifying and Confirming this & none other to be may last will & Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this 24 day of January 1783. Archibald Wright () Signed sealed published and declared by Archibald Wright the above named Testator as and for his last Will & Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have Subscribed owr names as Witnesses, William Henry, William Clark, John Voorhees February 20th. 1783 Then came William Henry and John Voorhees two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and Testament of Archibald Wright late of Kent County deceased, and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did See the Testator thereing named Sign and Seal this Will, And that they heard him publish, pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will & Testament; that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions, of Sound + |
