   October 15th. 1782 Then came Thomas Thompson & Mary Burton and
  two of ye Subscribing Witnesses to the within Will of Chas. Hynson of Kent Coty deced And
   made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did See ~
   the Testator therein named Sign + Seal this will and that they heard
   him publish, pronounce & declare the same to be his last will and
   Testament: and at the time of his so doing he was, to the best of their
   apprehensions, of sound & disposing mind, memory and Understanding,
   and that they these deponants together with James Mouat [?] Anderson
   the other subscribing Witness within named Subscribed their names
   as Witnesses to this Will in the presence, and at the Request of the –
   Testator, and in the presence of each other. —

        In the name of God Amen I William Smith of Kent
   County and State of Maryland being sick and weak of Body but of
   sound and perfect mind and memory Blessed be Almighty God for the —
   same, do make and publish this my last Will & Testament in manner
   and form following that is to say. ——
   First I give and devise unto my Son William all my now dwelling —
             being part of a tract of Land
   plantation^ called Vianna, the Crop now on the ground Exceped as pard
   of parsonal Estate, I further give and devise him my said Son William
   and his Heirs twenty acres of Wood Land being part of a Tract of Land —
   called Chance to be laid off in the South east Corner of my part of said
   tract of Land so as may be most convenient to the remainder part
   of said Land. My will is that my said Son William pay to his three ~
   younger Brothers and two Sisters one Hundred pounds viz Thomas, —
   Robert, Samuel, Sarah & Ann, one Hundred pound to be equally divided
   amongst them and paid as they arive of Age . ~
   Secondly I give and devise unto my Son James^Smithand his Heirs & Assigns. —
   all the remainder part of my Land called Chance with all the Improvements
   thereon, the Crop now [in] the Ground Excepted as part of my personal
