    In the Name of God Amen I Rachel Nevil of
   Kent County being Sick and weak of Body but of Sound and Disposing
   Mind and Memory, do Make this my last Will and Testament in Man=
  =ner and form following — First I devise my Negroes Nann and
   Sans to Cap.t John McGowan under Special Trust and Confidence that
   he will in three Months after my Decease Manumitt and Set free
   the said Negroes, and if he should Neglect or Refuse so to do I
   Bequeath the said Negroes to the State of Maryland forever —
     Also I Give and devise my three Negro Slaves Fan, Rachel and
    Ann to John McGowan Son of Cap.t James McGowan and his Heirs
   forever— Also it is my Will that after^allmy Just Debts and funeral
   Expences are Paid that the Residue of all my Estate shall be the
   Property of Elizabeth McGowan Daughter of the said James
   McGowan to whom I devise,   And I appoint Cap.t John McGowan
   Executor of this my Last will and Testament hereby Revoking all
   wills by me heretofore made, Witness my hand this thirteenth~
   day of October in the year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred and
   Eighty Seven — — — —                      her
