     On the 24,th day of January 1787, Came Christiana Whittington
    Widow of John Whittington late of Kent County deceased and quit=
  =ted her Claim to the several Bequests and Devises made to her in
   the Will of her Husband, deceased, and Elected in lieu thereof her
   dower or third Part of the Deceased Estate bothe Real and Personal
                                                   Before Jn.o Nicholson Regr

   On the 20,th day of February 1787 Came Ann Maxwell the Widow of
   Rob.t Maxwell Esq.r late of Kent County deceased and quitted her
   Claim to the Several Bequest and devised made to her in the Will
   of her Husband deceased, and Elected in lieu thereof her dower or
   third part of the deceased Estate both Real and Personal ——

   In the Name of God Amen. I Charles Gordon of Kent County do make this
   my last Will and Testament in manner following Viz.t
   First. I give and bequeath unto my dear Daughter Hannah Gordon and her
   Heirs forever all my Estate both Real and Personal in Trust for the maintenance
   and Supports of herself and such younger Children as I shall leave at the time of
   my Death, until my youngest Daughter shall attain her age of Sixteen years, and ~
   from anfter that Event, to and for the use of herself and her Heirs, and to and for the
   Use of my younger Daughters and their Heirs forever as Tenants in Common and in
   Case of either of their Deaths without Issue, then to and for the use of her Sisters af,d and
   their Heirs forever, Secondly. I appoint my dear Daughter Hannah sole Executrix
   of this my Will. But in Case of her Death I appoint my Dear Daughters Elizabeth
   Ann Gordon and Sarah Nicholson Gordon Executrixes of this my Will  
   Witness my Hand and Seal this 19,th of October 1786. —   ——
