210 As a Codicil to this my last Will and Testament my Will and desire is that all the Negroes Stock of Horses Cattle Sheep Hogs ~ Plate and Household Furniture that I got by the death of M,r Hopper shall desend after my death to my Wife Mary Nicholson and the Negroes and their Increase I got with her at my Marriage, as also a Negro Girl named Mary that was given to my Daughter Mary by her Grand Father M,r Hopper and her Increase, and the Plate that was Marked with my Daughter Marys name, as also one Hundred and Twenty bus. Wheat ~ In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this^sixthday of May 1783 Signed Sealed Published and } J Nicholson {Seal} declared to be a Codicil to his} Last Will and Testament } in the Presence of us. Edw,d Worrell, Tobias Ashmore, Feb,ry 5,th 1787 Then Came Edw,d Worrell and Tobias Ashmore the Subscribing Witnesses to the within Codicil of the last Will and Testament of Joseph Nicholson late of Kent County deceased, and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did see the Testator therein named Sign and Seal this Codicil to his last – Will and Testament, and that they heard him Publish Pronounce and declare the same to be his Codicil to his last Will and Testament that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehensions of Sound and disposing mind Memory and Understanding and that they Subscribed their Names to this Codicil in the – Presence and at the Request of the Testator and in the Presence of each other Before Jn,o Nicholson Regr |
