    8.ly My Will and desire is that my Stock of Negroes Cattle Horses Hoggs ~
   and Sheep shall be put into Lotts, and equally divided amongst my Children
   by my first Wife, by my Executors the Negroes before Specifically devised
   Excepted . ——— —— 9.ly Whereas by the General Expressions
   of my Children by my First wife in the Several devises af.d my Daughter —
   Elizabeth Gordon is Included, Now my Will Intention and meaning –
   is in Case her Husband Charles Gordon Should Survive me, that then –
   the Sum or Sums of money that would be her Proportion of my Estate —
   so devised, shall be by my Executor Put out to Interest for her use
   during her Coverture, with her said Husband, And upon his death —
   in Case she Survive him, that then it be hers at her free and full
   disposal, But in Case he should Survive her I devise the perroportion
   af.d unto her Children that shall be living at the time of her death,
   equally to be divided between them. ——————————
    Lastly I nominate Constitute and appoint my loving Wife Mary
   Nicholson my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
   In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 15th
   day of July 1780 —

    his Last Will and Testament   in   }                                           
   the Presence of us. Edw,d Worrell, Ja,s Barnes, Tho.s Smyth J,r
   Feb.ry 5.th 1787 Then Came Edw,d Worrell and Tho.s Smyth Jun.r two of
   the Subscribing Witnesses to the within last will and Testament of Joseph
   Nicholson late of Kent County deceased and Severally made Oath or the Holy
   Evangels of Almighty God, that they did see the Testator therein Named
   Sign and seal this Will, and that they heard him Publish Pronounce
   and Declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the
   Time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehensions of Sound ~
   and disposing mind Memory and Understanding, and that James
   Barnes the other Subscribing Witness was Present at the same time and –
   Signed his Name as a Witness to this Will, together with these deponants
   in the Presence and at the Request of the Testator and in the Presence
