   declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the time
   of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of sound + disposing
   mind, memory and Understanding and that respecitvely subscribed —
   their Names as Witnesses to this Will, in the presence, and at the reque[st]
   of the Testator, and in the presence of each other. ——

      In the Name of God Amen I Richard Hosier of Kent County in
   the State of Maryland Gentleman being sick and weak in Body
   but of sound mind memory and Understanding do make & Publi[sh]
   this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
   First and principally I give my Soul to Almighty God my Creator
   and Mercifull Redeemer, and my Body to the Earth to be buried in
   a Christian like manner, and as for the worldly goods it hath pleased
   God to bless me with, I give devise and dispose in manner & form
   following— I give lend to my beloved wife Ann all my Negroes
   Stock and other movebles during her life first Subject to the
   payment of my Just Debts ——
   I give and bequeath unto my son Henry Hosier ( after the death —
   of my said Wife Ann ) one Negro Woman named Phillis, I also
   give and bequeath unto my said son Henry ( all my Real Estate
   to him and his Heirs forever ) but the New House commonly —
   called the Shop with one Acre of Land Adjoining + next the —
   Orchard which I give my son Samuel Hosier to him + his Heirs
   forever — I also give + bequeath unto my^sdson Samuel a Negro
   Woman named Rachel after the death of my wife, —
   I give + bequeath after the death of my wife to my son Richard
   Hosier one Negro man named James —
   I give + bequeath unto my son William Hosier after the death of m[y]
   said Wife one Negro Girl named Mint. —
