   Signed Sealed Published and declared by Robert Maxwell the above
   Named Testator as and^fora Codicil to his last Will and Testament in the
   Presence of us who at his Request and in his Presence have Subscribed ~
  our Names as Witnesses thereto — James Woodland, Garrett ~
   Vansant, George Moffett, —   —   —    —    —

   January 18,th 1787, Then Came James Woodland, Garrett Vansant,
   and George Moffett, the three Subscribing witnesses to the within Codicil
   of the last Will and Testament of Robert Maxwell late of Kent County deced
   and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that
   they did see the Testator therein Named Sign and Seal this Codicil to
   his last Will and Testament, and that they heard him Publish Pronounce
   and Declare the same to be his la Codicil to his last Will and Testament
   that at the Time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehen =
 = sions of Sound and disposing Mind memory and understanding
   and that they Subscribed their Names to this Codicil in the Presence
   and at the Request of the Testator and in the Presence of each other ~
                                              Before Jn.o Nicholson Regr
   Whereas since the making of the foregoing Codicil to my last Will and
   Testament, I have obtained from Charles Irons a Conveyance of the Land
   and Premisses mentioned in the said Codicil and have also conveyed
   to John Lynch the Lands which in and by the said Codicil I had –
   directed my Son William to convey to him the said Lynch, And ~
   whereas I am willing and desirous that the Spirit and Intention
   of the said Codicil should be carried into full Effect, therefore I —
   Robert Maxwell of Kent County in the State of Maryland af,d do by this
   my Codicil additional to the foregoing give and devise to my Daughter
   Isabel Browning and her Heirs and Assigns forever the Lot or Peice^of Ground
   af,d mentioned in the foregoing Codicil and which I had therein directed
   my Son William to Convey to her as is therein mentioned ———
   I give to my loving Wife upon the Terms and Conditions menitoned
   in the foregoing Codicil, during her Natural Life the House and Lott
   with the Appurtenances, which in and by the foregoing Codicil
