     deducted out of his Share and considered as so much of his
      part of the residue of my Personal Estate hereafter devised — –
  Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Rebecca a Negro Boy Called
       Jacob |being Kates Son| and a Negro Girl called Harriett |being Sals
       Child | over and above her Share of the residue of my Personal Estate
  Item I give and bequeath to my Grand-daughter Ann Garnett —
        a Negro Wench called Rose and theherChild also two Cows —
        also a Bed and furniture also a Case of Drawers the same –
        which was designed by me for her Mother, also a square –
        tea Table lent by me to my Son Marmaduke and now in
        his Possession also two new three foot square dining Tables –
        to be Procured or made for her also a Desk which formerly —
        belonged to her Father Thomas Garnett and which I have de=
     = tained or keep in my Possession in Part of Satisfaction for
        a debt due from him to me but if he should recover or —
        attempt to recover the same from ther^thenI desiredeviseto her that sd. debt-
  Item Whereas I have already given and convey’d by Deeds all
        my Real Estate except the Quarter of a Lot aforesaid to my
        Sons Marmaduke Charles John and Edward respectively I do
       hereby further recognize and Confirm all and every the said Gifts
       and conveyances by me as aforesaid made according to the true
       intent and meaning in the said deeds expressed or Intended
       so to be —    —     —     ——      ———
  Item And Whereas I formerly have given severally to my deceased
       daughters Rebecca Hyland, Mary Brown and Martha Hyland
       in their Life Time certain Negroes and which were seve=
      =rally Put and delivered by me into the Hands and —
       Possession of their respective Husbands I do hereby —
       declare in order and to the intent to Prevent all or
       any dispute that might arise concerning the same ~
       that I gave all and every of them respectively as aforesaid —
       as and for absolute and Perfect Gifts and hereby divested my
       self of all right to the same and they nor any of them Can
       be considered as belonging to me or as any Part of my
       personal Estate —   —    ——       ——
