    I Richard Lloyd of Kent County in the province of —
   Maryland being in perfect Health and of Sound Mind and memory
   do make ordain Constitute and appoint, this to be my last Will and
   Testament in manner following — First. Whereas I have Given
   to my Daughter Ann Nicols by a Deed regularly enroled in the
   Records of Kent County all my two Tracts of Land lying on Chester River
   as also such a proportion of my Negroes and Stock as I intended for
   Her ;^itis therefore my Will, that she shall have no part of my remain=
 = ing personal Estate at the time of my Decease. ———
   Secondly – I Give and Bequeath unto my Son James Lloyd all my
   remaining Lands lying in of Kent County in the province aforesaid –
   to him, and his Heirs forever —— Lastly, My Will is that my
   Loving wife Elizabeth Lloyd shall have the use of my House and –
   plantation on the Bay side, as also my plantation on the Church
   Road near Mr. Wm. Moores during her Natural Life as a full Satis=
 = faction for the Thirds of my Lands, and a full Third part of all my
   personal Estate at the time of my Decease, and I do by these presents
   appoint my said Loving wife Elizabeth Lloyd my whole & Sole —
   Executrix to Execute this my last Will and Testament in Testo=
 = mony whereof I have hereunto sett my Hand and Seal this
   day of July 1775 —    Richd, Lloyd —
   Kent County Sst. The Deposition of James Tilghman Esqr. of Chester
   in Town in Kent County aged Sixty nine years and upwards who —
   being sworn on the holy Evangels deposeth and saith that he was
   for a great many years intimately acquainted with Colonel —
   Richard Lloyd late of Kent County aforesaid deceased, that he very
   well knows the hand writing of the said Richard Lloyd, having
   received many letters from him and having often seen him write
   that he hath carefully examined the annexed paper perepating
   to be the testament and last will of the said Richard Lloyd and
   exhibited in the Registers Office of Kent County aforesaid in order
   to be proved as such, and that he verily belives, and is Certain
