      In the Name of God Amen  I William Riley of Kent Coty
   [i]n the State of Maryland being sick and week of Body but of Sound &
   [d]isposing mind and Memory and Understanding, and Considering
   [th]e Certainty of Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and
   [b]eing desireous to setle my Worldly affairs and thereby be better —
   [p]repaired to leave this World when it shall please God to call me hence
   [d]o therefore make and publish this my last Will and Testament in —
   [m]anner and form following that is to say. First and principally I. ~
   [C]ommit my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God, and my Body to the
   Eearth to be decently buryed at the discreation of my Executrix and -
   Executor herein after named, And after my Debts and Funeral charges
   are paid and my wifes thirds taken out, I devise and bequeath as follows
   Imprimis I give leave and bequeath unto my son Nicholas Riley my
   now Dwelling Plantation with all the Improvements thereon to him —
   and his Heirs and Assigns forever.—  Item my Will and desire is
   that my Executrix and Executor shall sell my Negro Woman called
   Rachel and her two Children, the one called Mary, and the other Joe -
   in order to pay my Just Debts and as far as they may sell for . ——
   Item my Will and desire is and give and bequeath unto my Daughter
   Sarah Riley and to the Child or Children my wife now goes with —
   whether Male of Female all the remainder of my Negros and their
   Increase to be equally divided between them according to Quantity
   and Quallity at the time my said Daughter Sarah shall arrive —
   to the Age of Sixteen years or day of Marriage which shall first
   happen Item my Will and desire is that the remainder of my
   personal Estate be equally divided between my Son Nicholas &
   my Daughter Sarah and the Child or Children my wife now goes with
   And Lastly I do hereby Constitute and appoint my loving wife —
   Rachel Ryley and John Voorhees hole and Sole Executrix and -
   Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revoking & annulling
   all former Will or Wills by me heretofore made Ratifying and -
   [Con]firming this and none other to be my Last and Testament
