The foregoing Will being proved probate was granted by his Excellency Governor Franklin unto Mary Field Thomas Yeardley [?] and Micajah How Executors in the said Will named, the two first being duly Affirmed and the latter duly Sworn truly to perform ~ the same, Exhibit an Inventory thereof and render a true Account, when thereunto lawfully required, Given under the prerogative Seal the day and year aforesaid Cha Pettit Reg.r I do Hereby Certify the foregoing to be a true Copy from the Record in Liber N.o XVII of Wills pages 138. 9. 40, 1 in the Regesters Office at Burlington in the State of New Jersey. Bowes Reed Regr His Excellency William Livington Esqr. Governor, Captain General and Commander in Chief in and over the State of New Jersey ({seal}) and Territories thereunto belonging in America Chancellor and Ordinary in the same, To all whom these presents shall come Greeting I do hereby Certify that Bowes Reed Esqr who Subscribed the ^ the Attestation to the Copy of the Will of Robert Field hereto annexed, is Register for the probate of Wills, and granting Letters of Administration in and for the said State of New Jersey, and that to all Copies of Wills so Attested under the Hand of the said Register due faith and Credit is and ought to be given In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and caused the Great seal of the said State to be hereunto affixed at Trenton the Twenty seventh day of May in the Sixth year of the American Independence and in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty two.
