170 June 7th. 1786 Then came Samuel Beck and Levinus – Clarkson two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and Testament of Phillip Davis late of Kent County deceased, and Severally made oath on the Holy Evangels – did see the Testor. therein Named sign & Seal this will & that they heard [this?] Testator herein Named ^ of Almighty God, that they sign and Seal this will & that they heard him and declare the same to be his last will and Testament that at the their Apprehensions of Sound and disposing mind Memory and understanding, and that Thomas Smyth the other Subscri= = bing Witness was present at the same time and Signed his Name as a Witness to this will together with those deponants in the presence & at the request of the Testator and in the presence of each other Before J. Nicholson Reger In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Hepborn of Kent County and State of Maryland being Sick and weak – of Body but of perfect and Sound disposing mind and Memory do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament in manour and form followingImprimus- I Give and Bequeath unto my Son John Hepborn and his Heirs forever Thirty Acres of Land called Luck agreeable to deed be the same more or less, and aftger all the wood Timber is Gone and used of said land my will is that my Son John Shall be Supplided with Wood and Timber from the land that I hereafter leave to my Son Thomas Hepborn Itim I Give and Bequeath to my Son Joseph Hepborn and his his Heirs for ever two acres of Land on some Convenient corner of the land that I hereafter Will to my Eldest Son Thomas Hepborn my will is that my Son Joseph shall be Suplied with Wood and Timber for the use of said two acres of Land from the Land which -- |
