     Wife. I Give and devise one Fourth part of the principal Sum
    for which the said House, Lotts, Stables, Coach- houses and—
    other buildings may sell for, to my said son Thomas Cadwa=
  =lader, one other fourth part to my son John Cadwalader, and
    one other fourth part to my daughter Fanny Cadwalader;—
    each one fourth part, given to each of my abovenamed Children,—
    Subject however to the like exceptions and to decend in each —
    particular case, in Case of the death of any or all of my said Children
    Thomas, John and Fanny, as directed in the former part of this my
   will where they are devised each one fourth part of said House, Lotts,
   Stables, Coach- houses, and other buildings, and my will is thatnoon
   alterations shall take place, whether each of my said Children hold
   the said fourths as personal or real estate,—but shall descend as
   directed where the said property is disposed of as real estate——
      And whereas there is a certain Tract of Land in Sussex County
   in the State of New Jersey purchased many years since of John—
   Jenkins of New jersey, laid down for about Seventeen hundred and
   Fifty acres __ which Tract of Land was given and Conveyed to me by
   my Father Thomas Cadwalader;- one half of which Tract of Land
   I did for divers Good reasons convey to my Brother Lambert Cadwalader
   I therefore will and I hereby direct and empower my executors to
   sell the part belonging to me, or rent the same, as they in their
   Judgements may think most for the Interest of my mother and
   my Family and if sold to put the money at interest on Good security
   and pay the Interest arising therefrom annually to my dear Mother
   for her better support during her Natural life,- or if rented, to pay
   the rent annually or half yearly to my said mother Hannah —
   Cadwalader for the purposes aforesaid for and during her natural
   life— And my will is and I hereby Give and devise my part of
   the said Tract of Land in New Jersey purchased by my Father of
   John Jenkins, if not sold by my executors, to my daughters Anne,
   Elizabeth and Maria Cadwalader, to be equally divided —
