   In the name of God amen I George William Denham –
   Forester of the county of Kent in the State of Maryland being at
   present under a severe illness, but of perfect memory and Understanding
   do make this my last Will and Testament in the following manner
      Imprimis Whereas a part of the first part of the tract of Land –
   called Trewgift and known by the name of the Meadow part —
   Containing Sixty acres which was given me by the last Will and
   Testament of my deceased father William Forester, has been Mortga
  =ged by me to Mr Blackiston Wilmer who became my Security for the
   Sum of two hundred pounds current money of Maryland with Interest
   which is to be paid on the first day of March 1786, it is my Will and
   desire that should I depart this life before the accomplishment of
   the said period, and before the paiment of the said Sum of Money
   that then the said land so as afd conveyed in Mortgage shall be
   immediately sold by my Executors Jointly with the said Wilmer —
   or the Survivor of them in order to the a final adjustment and ~
   discharge of the above recited debt & Interest which may have ~
   accrued thereon — Item I devise all the remainder part of my
   land to my Wife Temperance during the term of her Natural life,
   and at her decease, I desire the said Land my decend to my
   son George William, should he be then alive or have had Issue,
   and to his heirs for ever; but should my said Son be then dead —
   without Issue as aforesaid, it is my Will & desire that my said land –
   be equally divided between my two daughters Mary Wilmer & Henrietta
   Elizabeth and to their heirs for ever. — Item it is my desire that my
   personal Estate be equally divided between my Wife my Son & my two
   daughters — Lastly I nominate & appoint my Wife Temperance and my
   friend Mr James Pearce my Executrix and Executor of this my last –
   Will & Testament In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand & fixed –
   my Seal this 12 day of february 1785. —
