                                           that it           & may
   Item my Will and desire is and shall ^be lawfull for my Executors to
   take and deduct to themselves out of my Estate before any division
   all the Reasonable costs and charges which they or either of them
   shall sustain^Sufferor expend about the Execution or performance of
   of any the trusts aforesaid, and that they nor either of them shall –
   be chargeable with^anymoneys other then what what shall actually
   come to their hands nor for the loss thereof, unless it be by or –
   through their wilfull neglect or default—
   And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my goods friends
   the said William Merritt and John Lamb Joint Executors of –
   this my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all
   former Wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming
   this and none other to be my last Will and Testament In Testimony
   whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and affixed my Seal this fifth
   day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred
   Eighty and five —

   Signed Sealed published & declared by the above
   named John March as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence
   of us who at his Request & in his presence have Subscribed our names –

   as Witnesses hereto . — Wm. Maxwell Junr, Joseph ‡ Shawn, John Dickson,

   Augst. 25. 1785 Then came William Maxwell Junr Joseph Shawn & John –
   Dickson the three Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and Testament
   of John March late of Kent County deceased, and Severally made Oath on the
                                                                                                  mentioned
   Evangels of Almighty God that they did see the Testator therein named
   Sign & Seal this Will, that they heard him publish pronounce & declare
   the same to be his last Will & Testament, and that at the time of his so d[oing]
   he was to the best of their apprehensions, of sound disposing mind [memory]
   and Understanding, And that they Respectively Subscribed their names –
   as Witnesses to this Will, in the presence, and at the Request of the Testator
   and in the presence of each other —
