   [did] see the Testator therein named Signe and Seal this Will, And
   [th]at they heard him publish pronounce and declare the same
   [to] be his Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of his so
   [do]ing he was to the best of their apprehensions, of sound and —
   [di]sosing mind, memory and understanding; And that they these depon=
   [a]nts together with William Price the other Subscribing Witness —
   [w]ithin named respectively Subscribed their names as Witnesses to —
   [t]his Will in the presence, and at the request of Thestator, and in the —

     In the Name of God Amen I Robert Field of Whitehill in -
   [th]e Township of Mansfied County of Burlington and province of West
   [N]ew Jersey, being in good health and perfect mind and memory on —
   [t]he first day of September one thousand seven hundred and Seventy four
   [ma]ke this my last Will and Testament in manner following. I resign my
   [S]oul to its Creator in humble hopes of its future happiness as in the
   [d]isposal of abeing infinitely good, and my Body to the Dust from whence
   [it] came to be buryed in a decent manner by my Executors hereafter -
   [n]amed, and my Will that all my just Debts and funeral charges be —
   [f]irst paid and discharged as soon as possible after my decease ——
   [I]mprimis I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Field three hundred
   [A]cres of Land the north wisterly part of my Estate at White Hill joining
   [t]he River Delaware ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (sic in Record) to be
   [t]o be divided from the remainder by a South West and North East line, —
   whereever it may fall out Including my mansion House, Bakehouse,
   [w]harfs and Stores, and Lotts I bought of Richard Brown, the House, Barn
   [a]nd part of the plantation I bought of Starcy Potts with all the ——
   [a]ppurtinances thereunto belonging as soon as he arrives to the age -
   [of] Twenty one years, he yielding and paying unto his mother if alive
