   Lastly I ordain Constitute and appoint my beloved Wife and
   my Kinsman and James Steel of Cæcil County Executors of this
   my last Will and Testament, and do appoint the said James
   Steel Guardian to my two daughters aforesaid In Testimony
   whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 26 day of
   July 1785.   —

   Signed Sealed published and declared by the said James Steel
   to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us —

   on the above Will are the following Endorsements to Wit –
   Augst. 9. 1785 I James Steel the appointed Executor in the last Will & Testamt.
   of James Steel late of Kent County deced do hereby Refuse to Act as Executor
   to said Will by Virtue of such appointment, and do hereby Renounce all
   my Right title and claim to said Executorship            James Steel –
   Test   David Smith Regr Cæcil Coty to Wit
   Augst. 9. 1785 Then came Archibald Job & James Frazier two of the –
   Subscribing Evidences to the within last Will & Testament of James Steel –
   late deced and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they
   Saw the said Testator Sign & Seal this Will. that they heard him publish
   pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will & Testament, that at the
   time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of a Sound
   & disposing mind memory & Understanding, And that they & Edwd. Bigley
   Subscribed the same Respectively as Witnesses in the presence and at
   Request of the Testator & in the presence of each other . —
   Sworn before —                                          David Smith Regr
   Cæcil County to Wit   I David Smith Esqr Register of Wills in the Coty afd
   (‡‡)    do hereby Certify that foregoing is a true Copy from the Original now –
   Remaining in the Registry of Wills in said County In Testimony whereof
   I have hereunto set my Stand & Seal of Office this 12. day of August 1785 ~
