   sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament Revoking all other
   Wills heretofore by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto –
   set my hand & Seal this 20. day of October 1782
   Signed Sealed pronounced                 Martha Ann Whichcote {seal}
   & declared by the Testatrix to
   be her last Will & Testament in the
   presence of us.   A.Glenn , Martha Glenn, —
    August 20th. 1785 Then came Alexand Glenn & Martha Glenn
   the two Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and
   Testament of Martha Ann Whichcote late of Kent County
   deceased, and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of
   Almighty God, that they did see the Testator therein named
   Sign and Seal this Will, And that they heard her publish
   pronounce and declare the same to be her last Will and
   Testament, that at the time of her so doing she was to the
   best of their apprehensions of Sound disposing mind memory
   and Understanding, and that they Respectively Subscribed
   their names as Witnesses to this Will, in the presence, and
   at the Request of the testator, and in the presence of each –
   other ——

    In the name of God Amen I James Steel of Kent County Maryland
   being very weak and low in body but of Sound mind memory & Understand
 =ing, and considering that we must all die, do make publish & declare –
   this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to Wit
   first of all I order that all my Just debts & contracts be discharged & paid
   also I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Martha Steel the third of
   my Real Estate, and one third of my personal Estate during her Natural
   life . . . 2d. I give the Remaing two thirds of my Estate Real & personal
   and the third of my Real Estate left to my Wife after her death to my
   two daughters Rebecca and Hannah to be held by them as tenants
   in Common their heirs & Assigns for ever. —
